Here is a fine example of full service porcelain restoration.
This piece was in destroyed condition and many missing parts were recreated, not replicated. The parts were first carved in plastaline clay, and then molds were cast, as seen below where the horses front legs are in the foreground.
The parts that were recreated were as follows:
1.) Horse's front legs 2.) Rider's right leg 3.) Stirrup and sword.

The left photo shows the newly made front horse legs equipped with wire armatures.

The Sandomirsky's were completely comfortable passing this heirloom down as a wedding gift, as was their intention.
