Whatever the unfortunate circumstances may be, Universal Fine Art Conservation are experts at evaluating a wide variety of contents damage to determine the nature, extent, liability and feasibility of restoration, as opposed to replacement cost, complete with documentation.

Insurance companies depend on trustworthy, competent restorers to properly inspect, examine, and write comprehensive reports, which is why our claims go more smoothly. We understand the psychology and legal tenets of claims handling. When customers are under duress, we empathize and accommodate their individual circumstances and schedules because we do not want to be part of the problem; we want to be part of the solution. Most of the time, furniture can be restored on site, saving the customers time, inconvenience, and the insurance company money. Our artisans work with brushes, and airbrushing equipment to make the repairs look invisble. Custom colors are mixed right on site for a perfect color match every time. When the damage surpasses on-site restorations, it is carefully transported to our clean and spacious shop.

Universal Fine Art Conservation is a full service restoration company. We offer more fine restoration services than any other company on the east coast, and it is all done in-house. This equates to the highest standards of quality control and accountability without the elevated costs of intermediaries. Most mobile restoration firms don't have a shop, and they are at the mercy of a third party network to complete a claim. Franchise companies receive minimal training and lack experience and diagnostic skills.

We own our 2000 S.F. shop and fine art restoration studio outright, and we do not pay rent! These cost savings are happily passed onto our valued customers who take advantage of our competitive prices. You will be pleasantly surprised with our prices and we are fully insured.

Our Pledge: We strongly believe in preserving the integrity of the objects entrusted to our care and thus avoid using any technique or material that might compromise that integrity. Our goal is to provide the same high caliber of quality to every job using the finest materials available to the professional restorer. Our concern for achieving a seamless restoration is the same for all our clients, no matter the value of the item. While it is impossible to put a price on sentiment, customers should be aware that a cost of professional restoration may exceed the value of the object. Only you, the customer, can determine if your item warrants the investment.

Universal Fine Art Conservation has been satisfying the restoration needs of international clients for 40 years.
